Conditions Treated
Shin Splints
This condition ia characterized by a marked pain occuring on either the inside or outside portion of the shin. It is frequently caused by running or other aerobic activity. If shin splints are left untreated, they can eventually lead to stress fractures, a condition which requires more intensive medical care and rehabilitation.
Treatment Plan
The treatment consists of reducing swelling with a combination or ice and electric physiotherapies. This will be followed by stretching and exercises to rehabilitate the affected mucles and eventually increase strength in order to prevent future injury.
About Knees, Shin, and Calf Pain
The condition above is a commonly treated problem resulting from pelvic imbalances which have led to an inordinate amount of stress on the legs, and consequent serious injuries; these types of injuries are usually best treated with an effective regimen of chiropractic care.
